The 14th AICA Annual General Meeting Was Successfully Held in Shanghai

This early September, it is great honored to welcome the accountants and tax experts from Greater China and South-East Asia countries coming gathering in Shanghai, with the typhoon along though, as well as the special guests from the U.S., kicking off the 14th AicA Annual General Meeting.

The meeting was held under the circumstance that the international politics and economics getting more complicated and unstable and uncertainties continuing increasing.  With the more interactions between countries and increasing in international trade, it is critical to the finance and taxation service providers to deeply think about how to react to meet the increasing demands on compliance, planning and cross-border services.  It was great to listen to and exchange the ideas, concerns and views from the members on how to strengthen the communication, understanding, cooperation and cross-regional / countries work to better serve the clients.  During the meeting, it was happy to get our U.S. partner connected to share the updates regarding the trade war between China and the U.S.

Members show strong confident and interests to the business opportunities brought by the China “one-belt, one-road” initiatives and also the “Greater Bay” plan, believes in the long-run, they can bring great values to not only China but also the surrounding regions.

After the meeting, representatives visited Wuzhen, a small water town nearby Shanghai.   The beautiful and peaceful weather after the typhoon makes the town looks beautiful and beyond any words. Members cannot help admiring that "beautiful sceneries are better than any gold and silver mines", we shall all cherish the moment, continue exploration and believes the future will be greater.
